The Protagonists

    The 5th Italian Cuisine in the World Forum has been the opportunity to present some special Awards to a number of professional people who have distinguished themselves for the promotion of Italian Cuisine abroad. The first special Award has been given to Annie Feolde, executive Master Chefs of Enoteca Pinchiorri*** for her oustanding contribution of quality Italian cuisine in the world and for putting Florence on the map of the greatest restaurants in the world. Tuscan Chef Cesare Casella, Dean of the Italian Studies at the International Culinary Center of New York has been awarded as Ïnspiring Educator of Italian Cuisine abroad for what he has done in the US. Special Awards have been presented also to four Italy based Chefs who have given a continuos support to the events organised by itchefs-GVCI abroad: Alfredo Russo (Dolce Stil Novo, Venaria Torino)*, Claudio Sadler (Sadler, Milan)** Tano Simonato (Tano passami l'olio, Milan)* and Sergio Vineis (Il Patio, Pollone Biella)*.
