
![]() Italian Cuisine World Summit: a Celebration of Exellence![]() Some of the most talented Italian chefs from Italy, New York, Rio De Janeiro and Moscow have been confirmed Guest Master Chefs at the Italian Cuisine World Summit to be held in Hong Kong next November 2 to 7. “They will be joined by dozens of other chefs and restaurateurs from all over the world who will come to Hong Kong to celebrate itchefs-GVCI network´s (Virtual Group of Italian Chefs) 10th birthday”, says Mario Caramella, executive chef in Bali and president of GVCI. “The Master Chefs will be guests of the Host Chefs working at 16 of the best restaurants in Hong Kong, Guanzhou, Shenzen and Macau”, says Rosario Scarpato, Director of the Italian Cuisine World Summit. Among the visitors, 8 Michelin starred chefs from Milano and Lombardia that include Claudio Sadler, Philippe Leveillé, Enrico Bartolini, Andrea Tonola, Gaetano Simonato e Matteo Scibilia, President of the Chefs Association of Lombardia. The Italian Cuisine World Summit is the only high level gastronomic congress dedicated to the celebration of excellence in Italian Cuisine abroad, Italian food, wine and hospitality culture. The location is not random: Italian cuisine has become the most beloved cuisine in Asia only after the local ones, and Hong Kong the gateway for quality foodstuffs and wines coming from Italy. For the Summit an impressive series of special lunches and dinners, cooking master classes and workshops, products’ showcases and tastings have been scheduled (the program will soon be available).
